We’re Matt, Cal, Jake & Sam - four mates who started a band called Motel Thieves back in 2018. Like a lot of artists, we were promised the world and handed loose change. We played the gigs, did the miles, and somewhere along the way, realised what we actually wanted:

To feel part of something real.

To feel heard.

To feel like we belonged.

That’s why we built Mantra Collective - not to sit at the top, but to stand alongside the bands and artists who deserve more than empty promises.

We’re here to shine a light on talent that gets overlooked. Whether it’s a sweaty basement set or a hometown single release - we cover it all with honesty, energy, and care. From live gig reviews, EP breakdowns, and interviews, to spotlights on the artists pushing boundaries - this is your space too.
